Speaking of ukuleles, it's worth it to seek out The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain videos on YouTube. They're absolutely amazing! They inspired me to go out and buy a uke. :)

Hi Cathy & John, great to keep updated on your travels! I'm in the lobby of the Hilton in Houston catching up on emails and my Quilt U class. Having a busy time seeing all of Market and meeting with fabric people and magazine editors about new designs and articles. Looking forward to my classes at Festival later in the week. Jill (my Belgium friend) arrives from Ottawa tomorrow night and then the FUN will begin. Have a great rest of your trip and see you when we all get home.

Dear singingquilter,
I enjoyed your post about Austin. Did you know The Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum is hosting the Joyce Gross quilt collection this fall/winter? See this Web site for details: http://www.thestoryoftexas.com/the_museum/look_ahead.html

Sharpening need not be as difficult as it seems,go slow and use a fairly good stone. For basic touch-ups I use 1000 grit wet and dry from Canadian Tire.Remember Haste makes waste, and enjoy.Any questions?

Hi, Katie: I think I still have this information at home, but I won't be there for another month! I'll look it up for you then. Before that, though, perhaps the museum website would have that information?

Hey...

Do you know who the thread sculpture outside the museum was done by? Because it's really interesting and would like to see what other work has been done by this designer. Thanks.
